Days 5 and 6 South Beach to Coos Bay

I will not mention anything about hills but let's just say the coastal route is not flat. This stretch took us along the Oregon Dunes and lots of great overlooks where we watched the sea lions swimming around in little groups of four or five lions. There were plenty of them. GWe are now 283 miles into our trip- a little more than half way. And, still the sun is with us. I am very, very thankful for that! Last night it rained a little but the tent kept us dry. These $10 hiker/biker sites are great!
