We woke to another gorgeous sunny day. After coffee at the beach it was time to head back to highway 101. The traffic is far less here on the south coast where the towns are very small and farther apart.
We passed some guys harvesting their cranberry crop. And the rolling hills took us to Gold Beach after about 40 miles. The only camping nearby is a USFS site and we aren't sure if there is water there, so we are staying at a little ocean view motel in Gold Beach.
